About
I self taught myself to play the piano from the tender age of 3, and was caught singing away in the mirror. I wrote my first song called, Never Let You Down a few years later age 8, and the rest is history.
I compose, sing, song-write and produce my own compositions. I first learnt the formula to making prominent distinguished pieces of music, using Atari having listened too many different genres and styles of music, for example I love listening to Brass, Baroque, Classical, Jazz, Opera and Renaissance music. I tend to use elements from all types of music and infuse them with the Dancehall, Hip-Hop and R’n’B vibes that has carried me through till this day. I believe less is more, sometimes when it comes to music because it can become overcrowded with things you do not necessarily need.
I feel that music requires space to allow the composition to be heard in it’s true form, I love experimenting with new and old sounds as it allows me think outside the box when it comes to my creative headspace.
When I create my compositions I can already hear and see everything which makes the writing process so much easier for me, because hearing all the elements in their true oneness, and finding space for them in a beautiful piece of music is a work of art.
